Witnesses in Somalia say a drone aircraft has crashed into a displaced persons camp in the capital, Mogadishu.
VOA's Somali Service reports the drone struck a small house Friday inside the Badbado camp. There were no reports of injuries.
Camp residents say African Union peacekeeping troops arrived at the scene and took away the wreckage of the unmanned aircraft.
There was no immediate word on what country or organization the drone belongs to.
The U.S. has used drones to attack or observe al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab militants, which control large sections of southern and central Somalia.
