Polling stations are open across Serbia Sunday as citizens cast their ballots for president, legislators and local officials.

Sunday's ballot could have an impact on the country's push for EU membership and its reconciliation with neighboring Kosovo. Serbia does not recognize Kosovo's independence.

The two leading presidential candidates are incumbent Boris Tadic of the pro-EU Democratic party and the Tomislav Nikolic of the nationalist Serbian Progressive party.
