U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Cambodia for a busy day of talks with southeast Asian officials.

She is attending meetings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Thursday as well as holding separate sessions with foreign ministers from the region.

Chief among the talks is Clinton's meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, as the United States continues to focus on fostering closer economic and security ties with China's neighbors.

Later this week, Clinton will host a large gathering U.S. business executives in Cambodia to discuss ways of increasing U.S. exports to the region. She is also expected to roll out what officials describe as “very substantial new resources” for nations along the Mekong River.
