A derailed tanker train burst into flames in northern Burma Friday, killing at least 25 people.

Burmese officials say the train — carrying fuel — derailed early Friday in the country's Sagaing Region, injuring 62 people.

People from nearby villages came to the scene. Officials said some were trying to collect the spilled fuel when the blaze broke out.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the initial accident.
