“An International Educator in Vietnam” shares some data from the latest quarterly SEVIS report on foreign student representation in U.S. academic and exchange programs.  He says the U.S. is now the world’s leading host of Vietnamese students (like Nick!).

Other interesting insights:

– China has the most active students in the U.S.

– Business is the most popular major for international students

– 55% of all international students are in California, New York, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Florida and Pennsylvania

[Update: The IIE Open Doors report was released Nov. 15 with additional interesting data about international students in the U.S.]
