How Undergraduate Financial Aid Works

UPDATE: It looks like EducationUSA has removed the two videos.  Sorry everyone – hopefully they’ll upload them again and we can repost them.  Meanwhile, take a look at our financial aid category for some useful information about scholarships and aid.

How do universities determine the amount of financial aid you will receive? Thanks to EducationUSA, here are the perspectives from two different schools: SUNY Plattsburgh and Florida Institute of Technology. Of course, each school will be different, offering different amounts of financial aid based on different qualifications, but these videos might give you a basic idea of how it could work.

(Sorry, the sound’s a little wonky on this one – it sounds like maybe she had a bad phone connection)
