The Canucks hold a 3-games-to-2 lead in the best-of-seven games series of the Stanley Cup finals.
The Canucks' Maxim Lapierre scored the game-winning goal with more than 15 minutes left to play in regulation.
They held on to the victory with the help of their goalie, Robert Luongo, stopping 31 shots.
Game six of the series shifts to Boston Monday.
