More than 100 drivers protesting tough economic measures in Belarus blocked one of the country's border crossings into Poland before getting dispersed by security forces.
Police said Monday they had arrested at least 14 demonstrators for disrupting public order.
The drivers were voicing their anger at government-imposed restrictions on the exports of fuel and goods, particularly to neighboring Poland.
Trade with Poland is a major source of income for those in the border region.
Belarus is experiencing a sharp economic crisis and recently was forced to devalue its currency.
The Belarus government of President Alexander Lukashenko has cracked down on any form of political and economic dissent since a public uprising against what Western observers have described as his flawed re-election in December.
