Afghanistan officials say suicide bombers have stormed a police station near the presidential palace in the capital, killing at least two people.
Authorities say the attack triggered a shootout between the militants and the police Saturday in Kabul.
They say at least one of the two people killed in the attack was a police officer.
Officials say at least one suicide bomber was also killed.
The Associated Press reports the attackers were wearing Afghan army uniforms when they opened fire as they entered the police station.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
