Here are the prices of some key commodities traded in New York on Wednesday:
Crude oil prices rose more than $1 to close at $95.41 a barrel.
Coffee futures rose a fraction of a cent to finish at $2.44 per pound.
Copper prices edged up a fraction of a cent to end at $4.09 a pound.
Cocoa futures gained $13 to end the day's trading at $3,040 a ton.
In Chicago trading, the price of wheat fell 36 cents to a seven-month low of $6.38 a bushel.
Rice prices dropped 23 cents to end at $14.63 per hundredweight.
