Heavy rains from Tropical Storm Meari continue to fall Saturday in the Philippines capital of Manila and surrounding provinces.
Officials say at least 15 people are missing and more than 75,000 have had to abandon their homes. While the storm only brushed the eastern side of the country, it still brought torrential rain for most of this week.
One of 10 fisherman listed as missing at sea Thursday has been rescued, but the rest have not been found.
The storm blew out of the country early Saturday and is now headed north, with winds of 105 kilometers per hour and higher gusts.
