South Korea's military says it is establishing a cyber warfare school following a series of suspected Internet attacks by rival North Korea.

The military has established the four-year cyber-defense program at Korea University, where it will be housed at the Graduate School of Information Security. The program will be train students in subjects such as cyber psychology and how to break malicious codes.

Thirty students a year will receive full scholarships from the military. After graduation, they will serve for seven years as commissioned officers in military cyberwarfare units.

South Korea says the North was behind a series of damaging cyber attacks. The most recent, in April, shut down operations at one of South Korea's largest banks for several weeks.
