Mexican authorities are continuing the search for seven American tourists whose fishing boat capsized and sank during a storm off Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
The incident happened Sunday after the 35-meter vessel, the Erik, with 43 people on board, left the port of San Felipe for a fishing trip on the Sea of Cortez. One American was killed in the accident.
Navy vessels, fishermen and other ships rescued some survivors. A Coast Guard official has said others swam to shore to seek help.
Mexican navy helicopters and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter have been involved in the search for the missing persons.
