Mexican authorities are continuing the search for seven American tourists whose fishing boat capsized and sank during a storm off Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
The incident happened Sunday after the 35-meter vessel, the Erik, left the port of San Felipe for a fishing trip on the Sea of Cortez. One American was killed in the accident.
Thirty-five of the 43 passengers and crew members were rescued, some of them by Navy vessels, other ships and fishermen. A U.S. Coast Guard official said other survivors swam to shore to seek help.
Mexican navy helicopters and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter have been involved in the search for the missing persons.
