The United States says Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will travel to Indonesia and Hong Kong later this month.

The State Department says Clinton will arrive in Bali July 21 and will attend the annual gathering of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

A State Department spokeswoman says the visit demonstrates the U.S. commitment to strategic engagement with Southeast Asia.

Clinton then travels to Hong Kong where she will give a speech on U.S. economic leadership in the Asia-Pacific region.

Before traveling to East Asia, Clinton will visit Turkey, Greece and India.
