At least 13 people have died in the second major bus crash in Zimbabwe this week.
The accident happened Tuesday about 200 kilometers east of the capital, Harare.
Police say a tire burst on a passenger bus, causing the bus to veer off the road and roll over twice.
Nine people were killed on the spot, with at least four more dying at a local hospital.
On Sunday, at least 18 were killed north of the capital when a bus swerved off the road and slammed into a tree. In that incident, a wheel fell off while the bus was in motion.
Police Tuesday urged bus drivers to drive safely and to make sure their vehicles are mechanically sound before taking to the roads.
