The German air traffic controllers’ union has called for a strike Tuesday morning. The union is asking members to stay off the job for six-hours in a pay dispute.
The union called the latest wage offer unacceptable and said there was no alternative to a strike.
A similar planned walk-out was blocked last week by a court injunction. The national air traffic authority has not said if it will try to block Tuesday’s scheduled strike.
The union has been seeking a one-year wage deal which would raise pay by 6.5 percent for the 6,000 employees.
