Dozens of Afghans took to the streets of Kabul Tuesday to protest the deaths of three people in a land dispute.
Police say the civilians were killed and three others wounded when members of a nomadic tribe clashed with security guards working at the construction site of a residential complex southeast of the Afghan capital.
The nomads are opposed the housing project, which is linked to an Afghan lawmaker.
More than 200 demonstrators on Tuesday carried the bodies of those killed in the land dispute to the center of Kabul, where they rallied near the presidential palace and key government buildings.
