Malaysia's prime minister is urging caution on his countrymen living in London following the worldwide notoriety of a video showing the robbery of a Malaysian student during this week's British riots.
The video shows 20-year-old Asyraf Haziq Rosli sitting dazed and bloodied after being attacked on a London street. A group of young men approaches and helps him to his feet. But then they rifle through his backpack and walk off with his valuables.
In a Twitter posting late Wednesday, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak says he is concerned by the attack.
He urges Malaysians in London and surrounding areas to be wary and look after their own security.
