Tropical storm warnings are out for Bermuda as Tropical Storm Gert churns in the Atlantic.
Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center in Miami say they expect Gert to strengthen before it reaches Bermuda Sunday or early Monday. The storm currently has sustained winds of 64 kilometers per hour.
The experts predict the storm will turn back out to sea, away from the U.S. east coast.
Gert is the seventh named storm of the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season, but none of the storms developed into hurricanes.
