Here are the prices of some commodities traded in New York on Wednesday:

Crude oil prices increased nearly $1 to close at $87.58 a barrel.

Coffee prices gained 12 cents to end at $2.63 per pound.

Copper prices advanced 4 cents to finish at $4.03 a pound.

Cocoa futures moved up $56 to end the day's trading at $3,017 per ton.

In Chicago trading:

Wheat prices rose 6 cents to $7.58 per bushel.

Rice prices climbed nearly 12 cents to almost $17.18 per hundredweight.
