Mozambique and South Africa will soon issue a single visa for individuals traveling to both countries.
Mozambique Tourism Minister Fernando Sumbana says the initiative makes it easier for people to move between the countries without a second visa.
He not specify a date for the start of issuing single visas.
Sumbana also told a local newspaper that Mozambique has also pushed for a single visa covering the 14 countries of the Southern Africa Development Community .
He says they especially want to make it easier for international travelers to move throughout southern Africa.
The initiative has not been approved by the SADC.
