Oil Prices Plunge

Here are the prices of some commodities traded in New York on Thursday:

Crude oil prices fell more than $5 to close at $82.38 a barrel.

Coffee prices gained 1 cent to end at $2.65 per pound.

Copper prices retreated 6 cents to finish at $3.96 a pound.

Cocoa futures moved down $32 to end the day's trading at $2,985 per ton.

In Chicago trading, the price of wheat fell 19 cents to end at $7.39 a bushel.

Rice prices were off 29 cents to close at $16.89 a hundredweight.
