Police say the blast occurred in the same vicinity as several other diplomatic buildings including the U.S. embassy. Danish PM Sets Parliamentary Elections Next Month

Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen announced Friday the parliamentary elections will be held on September 15th. Mr. Rasmussen has led Denmark’s center-right minority coalition government since 2009. Polls show Mr. Rasmussen’s party could face some stiff competiton from the opposing Social Democrats in the upcoming elections.
