Authorities in Indonesia say at least 10 people were killed and several are missing after a ferry encountered bad weather and sank off Indonesia's Sulawesi island early Saturday.
Police say rescuers pulled at least 93 survivors out of the water near the city of Kolaka. Authorities do not know how many people are missing, because they suspect that the overloaded ferry's passenger list is not accurate.
Ferry services are a primary means of transportation among Indonesia's 17,000 islands, but there are many accidents because of overloading and lax safety standards.
