A man has been has been arrested after trying to smuggle seven exotic snakes and three tortoises onto an airplane in his pants.

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration said Tuesday the animals were discovered while the man passed through a body scan at Miami International Airport last week. The reptiles were hidden in nylon bags concealed in his trousers.

Authorities have not identified the man, but said he was attempting to fly to Brazil.

He was arrested by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for violating animal trafficking laws.
