Russian officials say three suicide bombers have killed at least eight people in the Chechen capital Grozny.
They say the first bomber blew himself up when police tried to arrest him in central Grozny. The other blasts followed soon after. At least four of those killed were policemen.
At least 20 people were wounded.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombings.
The suicide attacks occurred on the day Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which signals the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
