An Indian jet has made an emergency landing in the city of Mumbai, the latest in a series of incidents involving airliners in India.
Officials at a Mumbai airport say the budget carrier SpiceJet plane with 137 people on board landed Saturday under emergency conditions after a technical problem was detected.
They say all passengers and crew exited safely.
The incident took place as airport personnel in Mumbai worked to free a Turkish Airlines plane that remained stuck in mud after veering off a runway Friday. On Wednesday, an Air India jet landed under emergency conditions in Mumbai following a suspected hydraulic failure.
Emergency incidents were also reported a few days ago at airports in the Indian cities of Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
