A minibus went off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Indian-controlled Kashmir, killing at least 22 people.
Indian police say at least 15 people were injured in Tuesday's accident in a mountainous region near Srinagar, the main town in Kashmir.
Police officials say the driver of the bus lost control while negotiating a sharp curve and rolled down a cliff.
Twelve of the injured passengers have been transported to a hospital in Jammu for treatment.
India suffers frequent road accidents due to reckless driving, poor vehicle maintenance and overcrowding.
