The Norwegian fjord cruise ship Nordlys was evacuated Thursday after a fire broke out in the engine room.

The ship was at sea near the port of Aalesund in western Norway when the fire started. Some of the more than 200 passengers aboard the ship were evacuated in lifeboats, while the rest left the Nordlys when it docked at Aalesund.

A spokesperson at Aalesund hospital said at least four people were injured.

Reuters says the incident occurred while the Nordlys was sailing on a popular tourist route from Bergen to the northern regions above the Polar circle.
