Oil, Copper Prices Rise, Coffee & Cocoa Futures Fall

Here are the prices of some key commodities traded in New York on Thursday:

Crude oil prices rose 49 cents to close at $89.40 a barrel.

Coffee futures dropped five cents to $2.63 a pound.

Copper prices rose six cents to $3.95 a pound.

Cocoa futures lost $19 to close at $2,791 a ton.

In Chicago trading, wheat prices fell almost nine cents to $6.96 a bushel.

Rice futures rose 13 cents to $17.93 a hundredweight.
