Here are the prices of some key commodities traded in New York on Friday:
Crude oil prices lost less than $1 to put the price at $88.87 a barrel in afternoon trading.
Coffee futures dropped a third of a cent to close at $2.63 a pound.
Copper prices slid three cents to end at $3.92 a pound.
Cocoa futures advanced $1 to close at $2,792 a ton.
In Chicago trading, wheat prices fell 8 cents to end at $6.88 a bushel.
Rice prices were off 4 cents to end at $17.89.
