A landslide has hit western Nepal, killing at least four people.

Police arrived at the scene in Baglung district following Thursday's landslide, which buried workers digging a canal.

Rescue workers so far have saved at least seven people, while several others are missing.

The mountainous Himalayan region is prone to flooding and landslides during the monsoon season.
