Three Malaysian anti-corruption officers have been accused of robbing money lenders of $300,000 at Kuala Lumpur's International Airport.
Malaysia's The Star newspaper says the trio went to the airport last week to investigate suspected money laundering by several money changers. The three confronted at least one of the money changers and questioned him before asking him to open his bag, which contained thousands of dollars.
The newspaper says the officers took part of the money before allowing the money changer to board his flight to Singapore.
The three have been arrested and suspended from from duty.
