Slovenia's President Danilo Turk on Wednesday called early parliamentary elections after the government collapsed in a no-confidence vote last week.

Mr. Turk announced the vote would take place December 4.

Prime Minister's Borut Pahor's center-left coalition government collapsed after junior coalition parties walked out over economic policy and other disagreements.
