A hacker took over the Twitter account of recently-elected Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra Sunday, accusing her government of incompetence and cronyism.
In eight posts, the unidentified hacker criticized the Yingluck administration on a variety of subjects, including her response to recent serious flooding and a number of key government policies.
The final post said, “How can she protect the country, if she cannot protect her own Twitter account? Think about it.”
Thai officials say the Information and Communication Technology Ministry is investigating the incident.
