The technology company Apple is expected to announce the launch of a new iPhone Tuesday, but has not said exactly what to expect.

The company last week emailed invitations to an event at Apple’s Cupertino, California, headquarters. The invitations said “let’s talk iPhone,” but provided few details.

Apple is notoriously secretive about its new products. Industry observers speculate, however, that the new mobile phone and Internet device would be faster, have a larger screen, and have more processing power than the current iPhone 4.

Tuesday’s event is the first Apple product rollout since Apple founder and former CEO Steve Jobs stepped down over health concerns in August.

A less famous face is expected to appear at the podium instead: Jobs’s successor as CEO, Tim Cook.

Jobs is one of the most well-recognized people in the technology industry, and his recent health struggles have sparked speculation about the company’s future leadership.
