Authorities in the Netherlands say four men were killed when a speedboat collided with a cargo ship in the Meuse River.

The collision occurred Monday night and three survivors from the speedboat, who were not seriously injured, managed to get aboard the freighter.

The cause of the crash is still unknown but authorities are continuing their investigation.
