An opinion poll out just days ahead of Poland's parliamentary elections Sunday shows that the ruling pro-market party holds a comfortable lead over the opposition.
In a poll published by the Gazeta Wyborcza daily on Tuesday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk's Civic Platform Party received 31-percent support, while the opposition center-right Law and Justice party has the backing of 21 percent of the 1,000 respondents to the poll.
The poll indicated that three other parties would also win parliamentary seats in the election. The new socially and economically liberal Palikot's Support Movement won eight percent support.
The Democratic Left Alliance and the current coalition partner, the Polish People's Party , each received support from six percent of those polled.
