Frankfurt Stock Exchange Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The stock exchange in Frankfurt, Germany was briefly evacuated Wednesday due to a bomb threat.

Operator Deutche Boerse says the threat came about a half hour before the end of trading, but that computer-based trading was not affected despite the evacuation.

On Wednesday, the DAX index in Frankfurt closed 4.9 percent higher to end the day at 5,473.
