Here are the prices of some key commodities traded in New York on Wednesday:
Crude oil prices increased $4.01 to end at $79.68 a barrel.
Coffee futures rose more than one cent to close at $2.28 a pound.
Copper prices edged less than a penny higher, closing at $3.10 a pound.
Cocoa futures increased $30 to settle at $2,622 a ton.
In Chicago trading, the price of wheat rose 21 cents to close at $6.25 a bushel.
The price of rice gained 19 cents to finish at $16.04 per hundredweight.
