Here are the prices of some key commodities traded Thursday in New York:

Crude oil prices increased $2.91 to end at $82.59 a barrel.

Coffee futures rose nearly 7 cents to close at $2.34 a pound.

Copper prices jumped more than 14 cents to close at $3.24 a pound.

Cocoa futures increased $38 to settle at $2,660 a ton.

In Chicago trading, the price of wheat fell 9 cents to close at $6.16 a bushel.

Rice prices fell 9 cents to end at $15.93 a hundredweight.
