Crude oil prices gained $2.57 to close at $86.80 a barrel.

Coffee prices advanced 2 cents to end at $2.40 per pound.

Copper prices rose 10 cents to finish at $3.41 a pound.

Cocoa futures moved up $41 to end the day's trading at $2,671 per ton.
