French Socialists and their supporters are voting Sunday for a nominee to run against President Nicolas Sarkozy in general elections next year.
The primary, the first of its kind in France, pits Francois Hollande, a moderate Socialist Party veteran, against one-time labor minister Martine Aubry. She is the author of France's 35-hour work-week law.
Hollande, who currently leads Aubry in the polls, took first place last Sunday in the first round of the Socialist primary with 39 percent. Aubry was second with 31 percent.
