A British police officer has denied any wrongdoing in the 2009 death of a newspaper vendor.
The death occurred during a 2009 G20 protest, in London. The officer entered a not guilty plea Monday in the manslaughter case.
Newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson died shortly after being shoved to the ground during the protest. Some witnesses say Tomlinson was trying to leave the area. His death was considered an example of police unnecessarily brutalizing the protestors.
