Former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has asked to have a chance to clear his name in a new investigation connecting him with a suspected prostitution ring.
Strauss-Kahn's attorney said Monday in Paris the former IMF chief is asking to be questioned by police investigators regarding any allegations. His name has surfaced as a possible client.
Strauss-Khan had been considered a potential French presidential candidate until rape allegations were raised by a New York hotel maid earlier this year. The charges were eventually dropped.
