Crude oil prices gained $1.96 to close at $88.34 a barrel.
Coffee prices lost more than 2 cents to end at $2.32 per pound.
Copper prices dropped nearly 2 cents to finish at $3.36 a pound.
Cocoa futures slid $51 to end the day's trading at $2,571 per ton.
In Chicago trading, the price of wheat edged up 1 cent to end at $6.25 a bushel.
The price of rice fell 27 cents to end at $16.26 a hundredweight.
