The Texas Rangers came from behind late Monday to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-2 and win game five of Major League Baseball's World Series.
Texas catcher Mike Napoli's tie-breaking two-run double in the eighth inning sealed the victory for the Rangers, who now have a three-games-to-two lead in the best-of-seven championship series.
The Cardinals took an early 2-0 lead, but the Rangers tied the game with solo home runs by Mitch Moreland in the third and Adrian Beltre in the sixth.
The series moves to St. Louis on Wednesday, when the Rangers will attempt to claim their first World Series title since the team's inception in 1961.
