A bomb attack targeting a Pakistani tribal elder in the country's volatile northwest has killed one person and injured several others.
Wednesday's bombing ripped through a car near a police checkpoint on the outskirts of Peshawar.
At least 12 people were injured in the blast.
Local officials and media said the target of the bombing was Malik Taj, an elder and important businessman in the Khyber region. He was reportedly among those injured in the blast.
