There has been another attack on a gas pipeline in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

Egypt’s state-run news agency says saboteurs attacked a section of the pipeline about 60 kilometers west of the town of El-Arish. MENA says no one was hurt in Friday’s attack, and that there was limited damage because almost no gas was flowing through the pipeline at the time of the attack.

The pipeline supplies natural gas to Israel and Jordan.

This is the eighth time this year that saboteurs have targeted the pipeline.

Earlier this month, Egyptian police arrested a leading member of an armed Islamist group , suspected of several of the bombings.

Previous attacks have disrupted fuel supplies for weeks.
